There I was…Running the best time I have run since I have started this whole thing. I was running at a pace of almost 9km/h, meaning by the time I got to the end of my 65 minutes, I had already hit 9.7km, 100 meters over my daily goal. But I was tired. I had run the last 10 minutes at 9.5-10km/h and it had taken it out of me. The machine stopped and I bent over, eyes closed, sucking sweet , glorious oxygen into my aching lungs. After 10 seconds I opened my eyes and contemplated running to the water cooler to get some cold water. However, as I looked down I was met with a surprise. I had peed over myself!

1)Firstly, all my gym gear was still wet from being washed, so I needed to run in my old, crappy pair of tights whilst wearing light grey gym shorts and a thick tshirt.
2) I started running on a machine which happened to not be covered by any fan- meaning I got hot- very quickly!
3) I was running the fastest I have ever run…
So what it created was perfect storm of sweat! I should have realised half way through when my shirt was clinging to me like I had just jumped into a swimming pool.

Instead of continuing running and possibly smashing out one of the longest distances I have ever run… I held my towel over my groin pretending like I was casually walking as I literally ran out of the gym.
It was only when I got home that I realise just how sweaty I was. I actually wrung my shirt and was welcomed with a solid stream of liquid coming out.
So that ends a reasonably traumatic running experience. But hey- two days and I have run 2 of the top 3 quickest runs so far! Pretty darn good!!!! Oh and if you read my post below, I should be good to hand in by March! HUZZAH!
