Today's run was not so much a Baptism of Fire but a Baptism of Blisters! Once again- I favored sleeping in compared actually eating breakfast, so I started my run off at a gingerly pace and decided I was not going to try break land speed records today. However, at the end of the first 60 minutes or so I decided to have a little break and get a protein shake thing so I had some energy for the second round. As I returned to the machine and started jogging, I felt the familiar pain of blisters erupting in the arches of my feet. Around 10 minutes in, it was clear it was becoming a problem so I had to stop. So I didn't run a massive distance today but such is life...
I have to admit the constant niggle of small problems with my body(blisters/chafing) are really beginning to annoy me. I'd love a few weeks of no problems and therefore some great times.
Any of you who follow me on Twitter(Click Here to do so)may have seen a tweet I sent today at the gym. On the machine directly behind me, a woman with massive fake boobs was exercising.

2) People there to be noticed doing fitness
She appears to have fit into bracket number 2! Funnily, I often bump into girls at the gym who are there every time I am there. It's funny as I bet I look like I am sneaking a peak at them but often I have a little glance at their numbers. I honestly am trying to see how fast they are running and what sort of speed. I am always interested in that kind of thing now...But these girls there are the ones I think more highly of. Yeah the other girls with their big fake, plastic chests may be attractivish, but for someone to go in every day, run fast speeds and be proud about their body in a natural way...well they are the cool ones!
