So, this is happening! I decided to run 3000 km in a year. It doesn't seem much when I say it like that.

But broken down to it's base stats- it means I have to run 8.2 km a day(About 5 miles). Now that doesn't take into account days off, travel, sick days and ACT OF GOD days ie: I can't be bothered or an Americas Next Top Model marathon is on TV! (DON'T JUDGE ME) Furthermore, Fitness Experts(the hot, muscular people who work at gyms who secretly admiring the fat because they haven't had a pizza in 12 years) say you shouldn't run every day but need days off to rest and let your muscles blah blah blah... whatever... Wusses! They may need days of rest because with 6% body fat, one would get strained  muscles! But I will listen to their sweaty, tanned and greased hair advice and take a day or two off.

My plan is to run 6 days a week, which already bumps my daily average to 9.6km a day or about 1.3 marathons a week! Chuck in a few of the problem days mentioned above and it jumps to 10km a day(6.2 Miles) Suddenly it doesn't sound as easy!

Problem is- I can't run 10km. No way in hell! My first few weeks will need to be jogging with a lot of walking until my fitness gets better. Then I will try up the speed at which I run. It sucks because I am impatient as a child and want to be able to start off with a bang! Instead, like most fireworks displays or teenagers having sex for the first time- It's not going to be anywhere as good as I imagined!

Instead, the ol "Tortoise and the Hare" is the path I am going to have to take to do this safely and properly. Here's hoping I can break a few Hares necks and make a nice rabbit ragu...Unfortunately it's food like that led to this in the first place...
