Yesterday when I ran- it was hot. I left for my run around 5pm and it was around 30 degrees celcius. So as I plodded along, I sweated like a fiend. This is despite running among beautiful pine trees along amazing paths like the photo which is the path I have run on the last few days.
I woke up today and jeez my legs hurt. It was bizarre, I have run the same route 3 days in a row and the now my legs hurt where as they haven't in the last few days.
So today I was only going to be able to go on a small run. A leisurly 5km run- which although is not much, is better than nothing.
But I want to quickly talk about muscles. I was just sitting on the couch with my hand on my right quadricep. I happened to move which flexed the muscle and BAM! It was like rock. Not only was my leg super muscular, it was well formed and had a sweet shape to it. It was the first time I have really had a good feel of my leg muscles since starting this and it was great to feel the results of all my hard work! I got my girlfriend over and got her to touch it and she exclaimed "OH WOW- IT'S LIKE STEEL"!

I don't have a tape measure on me down here in the country but I realised I haven't measured my legs or anything in ages(the one thing I have slacked on a lot) so today it made me really look forward to measuring my body stats and seeing if there has been much of a change!

Oh and today I went past 500km. So I am 1/6th the way there! Problem is I am supposed to be around 650km or so... which means my deficit is growing :-( Fingers crossed I can start clawing it back soon or else it might slowly start to really get away from me!
